Planbox is helping Medco ‘push the boundaries of large-scale cooperation to create positive change for society and the environment.’
Kington, United Kingdom — Planbox has been selected by Medco Foundation, a non-profit organization part of the Medco Group focused on spearheading Corporate Social Responsibility activities throughout the country.
“It has been a really great experience with Planbox so far. I have big dreams for our innovation program and Planbox brought high expectations which is really pushing us to be the best we can be,” said Roni Pramaditia, Managing Director of Medco Group.
In line with its social responsibility mandate, Medco Foundation is using a future-fit approach to vitalize domestic partnerships through ecosystem expansion. Following Planbox’s in-depth assessment of Medco’s innovation program, the Group set out on an ambitious journey to empower startup collaboration on a national scale, with the aim of accelerating social and environmental outcomes.
“Planbox’s reputation for ecosystem enablement piqued our interest,” said Pramaditia. “We felt specially confident after Planbox developed a comprehensive, future-focused roadmap of Medco’s innovation program.”
In the latest Forrester Wave report on innovation management platforms, Planbox is recognized for having “a strong partnership network to help clients expand their innovation ecosystem and emphasize emerging technologies.”
Medco will use Planbox’s workflow-driven platform to identify, track, and evaluate over 350 startups across the country, with end-to-end transparency provided for all vendor interactions.
Medco’s goal is to find and invest in strategic partners developing products or services that align with the foundation’s sustainability mandate, namely in areas of energy, food, water and sanitation, education, health, and IT.
Custom-built by Planbox, Medco’s Startup Showcase platform connects startups with stakeholders, investors, and mentors to help them grow their businesses, facilitate access to mentorship and funding, and increase their recognition and impact on the global stage.
“We look forward to using Planbox’s robust evaluation tools to narrow down the most desirable startups. The platform is so easy to configure, remarkably intuitive, and offers so many features and capabilities with virtually zero customization required out-of-the-box. Medco is also developing INT.id, a proprietary application that will integrate with Planbox and serve as a vessel for knowledge sharing and collaborative concept development between internal resources and external partners.
